Have you got any stories, photographs or items related to Samuel Oldknow, Mellor Mill estate, Marple Aqueduct or the Lime Kilns? Please bring them along to Marple Library to be scanned into our archive. While you’re there catch a special screening of ‘The New Navvies’, a campaign film created by the Peak Forest Canal Society in Marple in 1965.Come and reminisce with us, meet our volunteers, and find out more about ways you could get involved.
